The most important light to consider is the main source of illumination: typically an LED panel or a strobe flash mounted on top of the booth. This light should be bright enough to sufficiently illuminate your subjects without washing out their features, yet soft enough so as not to cause any harsh shadows. In order to adjust this light's intensity, you can use a diffuser filter or a reflector shield to soften its effect.
Next, it's important to think about accentuating lights which create depth and texture in your photos by highlighting certain areas. These are often placed at different angles around the booth and can be used to add drama and interest. Depending on your style, these could take form of up-lights or spotlights that make colors more vivid, or even colored gels that change the mood entirely.
Finally, background lighting can also be used to enhance your images and make them come alive. This can either be indirect lighting from above or side-lighting depending on what look you want to go for; both will help separate your subjects from the backdrop and bring out additional details in their features.
No matter what type of photo booth you're using or what style you're aiming for, having optimal lighting will always yield better results than not paying attention to it at all! With just some minor adjustments here and there you'll be able to craft beautiful photos every single time.
